When I received an order….
There was a moment at the weekend when I received a multiple order for my handmade crafts when I felt a spreading feeling of warmth inside, a smile forced itself onto my face, when I felt like I grew taller as I sat up tall, my heart rate seemed to quicken and small fairies danced in my tummy and my hands tightened into fists and punched the air!
When I felt everything was out of control
There was a moment today when I felt what I would describe as panicky which I would describe physically as dizziness, nausea, a tight gripping sensation in my chest and sweaty. Even harder to describe is the feeling that my mind was literally racing ahead of my body’s physical capabilities.
Feeling sick and almost choking
There was a moment today (after having a conversation I have been avoiding and putting off) that I felt warm sick sensation from my stomach to my adam’s apple where it circled and squeezed my throat like a climbing vine.
When walking to work this morning
There was a moment (when walking to work this morning) when it was so cold that it felt like icy daggers were stabbing at my face leaving it raw and numb
Spikes through my heart
I was having a conversation with a friend at lunchtime and felt spikes through my heart at several points.
Smooth constant poking pressure
There was a moment (While sat on the train) that I felt a smooth constant poking pressure between my left collarbone and my throat that made me cough
Tension flowing out of my shoulders
There was a moment today (when I stopped running around from on thing to another) where I noticed a tension in my shoulders, as I acknowledged it (by thinking ‘oh I can post that on SLP’ it started to drain down the front of my chest leaving an empty ache, mainly in the joint of my left shoulder.
Free
There was a moment today when I danced like nobody was watching. It felt liberating and I felt my body full of buzzing energy.
Ants under my skin
There was a moment (well lots of them in the last few weeks, but this one was yesterday morning) when it felt like I had ants under the skin on both my shins and I just wanted to scratch the skin off to let them out.
Head rush
There was a moment (when I stood up quickly after drinking a few glasses of wine) that I had the sensation of all my body’s energy flowing to up into my chest , hovering for a few seconds & then filling up my head in a wave, making my eyes feel like they were rolling back in my head.
The sensation then became like exploding candy in my brain
